The long track, low ground pressure D65PX-18 has hydrostatic steering (HSS) for smooth, powerful turns and offers better flotation in soft or wet conditions than the EX or WX models. The Tier 4 Final Komatsu engine powers an automatic transmission and lock-up torque converter system that maximizes gear-to-load efficiency for low fuel consumption. Left and right palm command control joysticks afford operators a relaxed posture, superb fine control and all the tools needed to maximize productivity. Other -18 model upgrades include more horsepower, better shift smoothness and engine response, and a standard, high-debris climate-control package.
