The PC220LC-12 introduces a brand-new Komatsu engine paired with an ultra-efficient hydraulic system. The result? Low fuel burn—dropping into single-digit litres per hour in typical use—and a serious boost in both responsiveness and productivity. It’s a mid-weight machine with the reflexes of a much smaller model, and the brawn to punch well above its weight.

Fuel economy isn’t the only headline feature. Inside the cab, operators are treated to a spacious environment loaded with creature comforts and productivity boosters. Highlights include an intuitive 8-inch touchscreen, joystick steering, and programmable hydraulic settings. A newly developed P+ mode promises “off-the-scale” production potential by delivering peak power without wasting fuel.
